NSA spying shenanigans continue…

October 25, 2013 |

Angela_Merkel_(2008)Man,  I don’t know if this is even the type of stuff you can find in a somewhat decent spy-mystery novel.

Yesterday German Chancellor Angela Merkel complained to President Obama that the NSA was potentially monitoring her mobile phone communications.   In yet more from the NSA twilight zone, this falls on the heals of revelations that the NSA monitored calls of 35 world leaders.

French President François Hollande expressing his deep disapproval of Washington’s eavesdropping on millions of French people’s phone calls, breaching their country’s civil rights to privacy.

There seems to be some indication that Canadian and Spain citizens have also been caught in the digital snoop-fest.

The brave new world.
